Most popular luxurious holiday destinations for India’s millionaires
India’s wealthy and millionaire families swear by a small group of places. Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, the Maldives, and Japan have risen to the top of the charts thanks to their tourists. It’s interesting that a lot of European countries are much lower on the list.
Singapore: One of the most-wanted places
According to the Hurun study, Singapore is the most-wanted vacation spot abroad. 11% of high-net-worth individuals (HNI) like this Asian paradise, which has some of the most famous places to stay, such as Marina Bay Sands, Raffles, and The Capella. With some of the world’s most expensive hotels, this is the place to be for a truly luxury experience. Of course, Singapore is also one of the most popular places to trade and go to school abroad.
Switzerland and UK
Both the UK and Switzerland are in second place, getting about 9% of high-net-worth people each. Both places are in the middle of Europe and have beautiful natural scenery and good transportation links, which makes them easy and worthwhile choices for wealthy travelers.

France and Greece
Another 5% of millionaires chose France or Greece, which comes in third and fourth. France’s main draw is Paris, which is one of the world’s fashion centers and home to expensive brands like LVMH. For people who live and enjoy high fashion, Paris is the best place to treat yourself. Greece, on the other hand, has a charm that draws tourists in with its old-fashioned look and long past. France and Greece are close to the top because they have some of the best ports in Europe.
The Luxury Affect of Italy and Milan
Italy continues to draw people who love high-end goods. It is close to Milan, which is another center for global fashion brands that appeal to both men and women. With famous fashion houses like Prada leading the way, the city has an air of exclusivity that only the rich and famous can enjoy.
Australia and USA
The US and Australia are both at about 8%. Both places are very different from each other geographically, but they both attract tourists and rich investors. With the US being the center of wealth, Australia is a very private and luxurious place to visit. This list really lives up to its rich name, with its famous beaches on the island continent and its wide range of scenery that makes for endless adventures in the US.
Asia has Japan and the Maldives
With only 7% and 6% of the market, Japan and the Maldives are two smaller but still different countries. Millionaires like Japan because of its accuracy, craftsmanship, and culture of quiet luxury, but the Maldives is still the best place to go to the beach. Maldives, which is often associated with wealth, is surprisingly much lower on the list.
UAE and Dubai
According to the Hurun study, about 7% of millionaires travel to the UAE, and Dubai is still one of the most popular places to visit. People from all over the world want to live and trade in Dubai because it has low taxes, great infrastructure, and a great sense of safety and ease.
