It’s a city where big dreams and even bigger personalities are the norm, and today, all that leaves an even brighter sparkle. January 14, 2026 Disneyland Resort just released the latest set in its collecting craze – the Zootopia Shimmer Wishables series.
Along with the huge box office dominance of Zootopia 2, which has been breaking records since hitting theaters in late November, these micro-plush collectibles are ‘all the rage’ at Anaheim’s Parks. Whether you’re a seasoned “Wishables” hunter or just a fan of Judy and Nick, the collection is an irresistible “glow-up” for the regular plush format.
The Shimmer Upgrade: Stars in Their Eyes
The “Shimmer” series is a more recent variation of the traditional Disney Parks Wishables. The plushies are still designed “pocket size” but the upgrade to premium and collectible materials makes them look much more impressive than their predecessors.
What truly stands out on the Zootopia set, however, is the “star-pupil” embroidery. Instead of the usual round eyes, each character sports sparkling, star-shaped pupils that give them an identifiably “kawaii” and dreamy appearance. Plus, the looks are created from metals and iridescents that catch the California sun while on a park photo-op.

Who’s in the Bag? The Zootopia Lineup
Like many Wishables series, the Zootopia lineup is available in “blind box” mysteries. Disney is using a sleek hexagonal box for the series instead of the usual “crinkly bags,” and collectors are already celebrating how much nicer they are to stack into towers.
The mystery box ($17.99 each) includes four key characters in the series:
Police Officer Judy Hopps: In her ZPD uniform with high-gloss metallic blue accents.
Nick Wilde —Slightly transformed: wearing his signature green floral shirt, now in iridescent to give off a different shine and reflection depending on lighting.
Officer Clawhauser: This adorable ZPD dispatcher arrives with a glimmering donut accessory.
Gary De’Snake: Your favorite character from Zootopia 2 comes to life as this new “sssslippery” character makes his Wishables debut with scaled, reflective fabric.
For those of you who want to play the ”blind pull” game, Flash the Sloth is your “chase” or open-buy plush for this series. Batteries sold separately, not in a box Other individual character Emotes and Projections are available with this purchase Flash comes with a shimmering office tie and signature slow-motion grin that fans love!
Where to Get It: At Disneyland for Your Fix
If you’re coming to the resort today, you’ll see these citizens in several locations around the place. The availability of these can change quickly with how in-demand the Zootopia sequel already is, but the following are your best bets:
Emporium (Main Street, U.S.A.): Mainly the heart of all merchandise releases there.
The Disney Store (Downtown Disney): Best if you don’t have a park ticket.
Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff (Disney California Adventure): Since Clawhauser is currently meeting guests in the Hollywood Backlot close to here, Zootopia reasoning makes this a favorite location.
How Zootopia Will Rule 2026?
The arrival of these Wishables isn’t just a random merch drop; it’s part of a huge “Zootopia Summer” party happening at Disneyland. After the release of Zootopia 2 on November 26, 2025, the parks have gotten their fair share of world driven attractions.
