Global DJ Postpones India Shows on Medical Grounds
DJ Snake, an international music artist and DJ, has canceled his planned tour of India because doctors told him he needed surgery right away. The choice was made after medical exams showed serious health problems that needed immediate care. This made the artist decide to focus on healing over shows that were originally planned in several Indian cities.
French electronic dance music (EDM) superstar DJ Snake has finally canceled his long-awaited trip back to India after saying that doctors have told him he needs surgery for a long-term health problem.
The Grammy-nominated artist shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday. In February, she was set to appear in six Indian cities as part of the Sunburn Arena tour. In a very emotional statement, DJ Snake said that he has been “battling a health issue” for a while and can’t put off seeing a doctor any longer.
Indian tour by DJ Snake canceled; surgery set for February
Producer wrote, “Hey guys, I’ve been dealing with a health problem for a while, and it’s finally caught up with me.” This was the reason for the closure. Based on what my doctors told me, I need to have surgery in early February. I can’t put it off or push it off any longer. I’ll need a month to rest and heal after that.
As DJ Snake himself said, leaving the stage wasn’t an easy choice. “I had to make the very hard decision to cancel all of my shows, including the India tour.” “This is the only way for me to get back to 100%, though (sad face and broken heart emojis),” he said.
As a positive way to end, the artist thanked fans for their continued support: “Thank you for your love and understanding.” I’ll be better than ever when I come back. William.”
Third trip to India is once again put off
DJ Snake was going to make his third trip to India, where he has a huge fan base, but the tour was canceled. The Sunburn Arena shows were first planned to happen from September to October of last year, with Kolkata as the first place and Delhi-NCR as the last. But because of problems with logistics, the trip was pushed back to 2025.
With the new plans, the tour would start in Kolkata on February 6 and end in Delhi NCR on February 15. Along the way, it would stop in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai. Because of the latest news, DJ fans in all six places will have to wait longer to see him perform live.
