If we thought 2025’s performance-cap on smartphones had just been hit, OnePlus has entered the ring to blow it out of the water. New leaks about the much-hyped OnePlus Turbo have revealed what looks to be a device where the design is not of a phone but of your personal little portable dynamo. And with a rumored AnTuTu score higher than just about everything out right now, the “Turbo” label appears more like branding and more like a warning to competitors.

Performance That Breaks the Scale
Super-large headline: performance of the device on AnTuTu benchmark site. The rumours go further, saying this OnePlus Turbo managed to bag over 2.6 million points (precisely 2,609,327), as per a new report by ninjatech.
Put into perspective, this score would make it competing with the best of mobile computing… some current-gen flagships may even be beat out. Under the hood, meanwhile, we\’re hearing that it will run a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset (or some critically overclocked flip of the Snapdragon 8 series). The latest Geekbench entries for the model, which is known as “PLU110” or “Volkswagen” in some areas, list single-core scores of 2,124 and multi-core scores of 6,880 – indicating that it’ll be a beast when running the biggest blockbusters and multitasking like there’s no tomorrow.
The 9,000mAh Revolution
Raw power is fun and all, but the most “human” thing about the OnePlus Turbo might be its endurance. And in a development that may change our idea of “all-day battery life,” leaks indicate the OnePlus Turbo will come with an enormous 9,000mAh cell.
If true, these reports would correspond with the biggest battery we’ve ever seen in a mainstream OnePlus or Oppo phone. In order to fit such a monstrous capacity, without sacrificing an ounce of thinness or making the device into a brick, it can be assumed that OnePlus will adopt Silicon-Carbon (Si/C) battery tech which enables high energy density in less spacious dimensions. Paired with 80W or 100W of wired fast charging users will have a phone that goes for days on one charge, and fills up in a fraction of the time.
- Graphics and Construction: A Gamer’s Delight In a gaming company, few of the most important things are clarity and speed.
The teal isn’t the best bit about the OnePlus Turbo, it is what’s inside, though the interface is gorgeous too. Rumor has it that the screen will be a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE LTPS flat display, which is likely to appeal to mobile gamers who otherwise find curved edges annoying when things get too energetic.

Strategic Landscaping: Where Does It Belong?
Accelerate your passion for speed! We’ve learned from OnePlus President Loui Lee that the Turbo series is a brand-new product line, focusing on“scary strong performance” and battery life,” at an affordable price. OnePlus 15T is ready in time for release in February, but obviously this device need to have the onboard due to phones with image signal processing (ISP) – even though they seem to be less popular than a couple years ago.
The Turbo series will reportedly go head-to-head with Xiaomi’s recently launched Redmi Turbo series and other performance-first lineups, delivering high-end internals to folks who care more about frame rates than f-stops.

Launch and Availability
After its China debut early in 2026 (as soon as January), the ‘Volkswagen’ codenamed device might land in India, and possibly global markets. But if past models are any indication, expect to see launch beyond China under a different name and color with a potential new entry in the Nord or “R” category.
Waiting for the official curtain to rise, there is one thing that we know for sure – OnePlus Turbo seems to be set as an ultimate ally for power users who are done carrying a power bank with them and fed up with thermal throttling on their devices.
