Three schools in Ahmedabad were put on high alert on Wednesday after receiving bomb threat emails. This led to quick action by the police and evacuations as a safety measure for the students.

Emails with bomb threats make the police act right away.
Officials say that on Wednesday, the schools got an email with the subject line “We will take revenge.” Due to the dangerous nature of the message, school officials quickly called the police, who sent security teams to the sites right away.
Sharad Singhal, who is the Joint Police Commissioner of the Ahmedabad Crime Branch, confirmed the answer by saying, “Police teams are at each school.”
Which schools in Ahmedabad were the targets?
The schools that got the scary emails are said to be Zebra School, Zydus School for Excellence, and Maharaja Agrasen School. Because they wanted to be safe, police and dog teams did full searches of the building.
Parents were told to take their kids home.
Parents were told that security checks were about to start and asked to pick up their kids from school. One of these notices, sent by a parent, said, “This is to let you know that we have to leave the Vidhyalaya premises because of some problems.” We want you to get your child as soon as possible.
A parent who spoke to ANI said that he got to the school ten minutes after getting the message. When asked about safety plans, he said they were “excellent.” He also said that teachers quickly called parents who might not have seen the WhatsApp message.

Sources say they believe people with ties to Khalistan
Sources say that agents think that the emails may have been sent by people with ties to the Khalistan movement. This raises worries about school safety in general. But officials haven’t said anything public yet to confirm where the threats came from.
Threats like this have been recorded in other places
A number of similar incidents have been reported in the past few weeks, including the one in Ahmedabad. Several schools in Amritsar, Punjab, got bomb threats via email on December 12. According to ADCP-2 Sirivennela, the threats were later called fakes after anti-sabotage checks.
This month, people also tried to break into schools in Delhi. On December 10, bomb threats were sent to two schools. An email to Sanskriti School specifically mentioned the Khalistan movement and said that there would be a blast later that same day. This is what the message said:
“Aaj 12:05PM Bomb Blast Hove Ga? If you want to vote in the Khalistan referendum, you have to go to Punjab. The movement for Khalistan is now in Delhi.
In each case, schools immediately told parents about the threats, and police did security sweeps. The threats were taken very seriously, even though some of them turned out to be lies in the end.
