After unidentified assailants were suspected of firing shots outside Khan Sir’s well known coaching school (Khan Academy), a well-known coaching center run by an educator in Patna (the capital city of Bihar, India), panic spread through Patna. The shooting happened near the coaching site at Musallahpur Haat, one of the most densely populated educational districts in Patna. After hearing those shots being fired several students, staff and residents nearby panicked and called for assistance from police when they heard those gunshots being fired.
Police Respond to the Scene of Incident
Within minutes of receiving notification about the incident, local police arrived at the site and began searching for evidence. Police cordoned the location off and started questioning witnesses and those who may have been in the vicinity of the coaching facility when the incident occurred. They are also reviewing CCTV from surrounding business locations to locate the individuals who executed the shooting.

No Victims Yet – Firing Incident Sparks Panic in Patna
There were reports immediately after the shooting that no serious injuries had occurred. But no official (law enforcement) documentation, as of now, is available on the number of individuals that were victims of the incident. Some social media reports indicate one possible gunshot victim, but law enforcement has not confirmed or denied these reports. The police have requested that:
