A new season of the business television show Shark Tank India is about to start. Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, Ritesh Agarwal, Kunal Bahl, Viraj Bahl and Amit Jain will all be back for Season 5 of “Sharks,” along with some new investors who want to put money into some of the hottest startups in the country.

Watchers all over the country will be able to watch Shark Tank India Season 5 online starting January 5, 2026, on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV. The show will have the same structure as usual- after several rounds of viewing, the producers choose a small group of startups to pitch their ideas to the “Sharks.” Only a few of these pitches make it to TV in the end. This season, startups will once again be fighting for money, mentoring, and strategy advice from a group of experienced investors and business leaders.

‘Sharks’ And Their Net Worth
- Arun Mittal – He started Shaadi.com and is in charge of it. Anupam has been a part of Shark Tank India since the first season. He has been one of the main “Sharks” in Seasons 2, 3, and 4. MoneyMint says that he is worth about Ϥ185 crore.
- Aman Gupta- He helped start boAt and is its chief marketing officer. Aman has been a part of the show since Season 1 and is still one of its most well-known “Sharks.” According to estimates, he is worth Rs 720 crore.
- Vineeta Singh- She helped start SUGAR Cosmetics and is now its CEO. People say that she is worth about Rs 300 crore.
- Namita Thapar – the Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals and a key member of the Shark Tank India panel. About Rs 640 crore is how much she is worth now.
- Peyush Bansal- He helped start Lenskart and is now its CEO. There are rumours that Peyush is worth 610 crore rupees.
- Ritesh Agarwal- He started OYO and is the Group CEO. There is one “Shark” who is worth more than everyone else- Ritesh Agarwal. He is worth about Rs 16,000 crore.
- Kunal Bahl- He helped start both Snapdeal and Titan Capital. According to estimates, he is worth about Rs 900 crore. Kunal is a very new “Shark.” He has been on the show since Season 4.
- Viraj Bahl – He is Veeba Consumer Products’ founder and managing director. According to some estimates, he is worth between Rs 200 crore and Rs 300 crore. He started Season 4 of Shark Tank India, just like Kunal.
- Amit Jain – He has been a part of the show since Season 2 and stayed through Season 3. Amit helped start CarDekho and InsuranceDekho and is now their CEO. Being worth about Rs. 2,900 crore, he is the second biggest “Shark” on the show.
Who Are The New Sharks And Their Net Worth?
- Mr Varun Alagh is the CEO and co-founder of Honasa Consumer Ltd., which owns Mamaearth, The Derma Co., and other brands. Aside from that, he is married to Ghazal Alagh- who helped start Mamaearth. Business Outreach magazine says that he is worth about Rs 5,900 crore, which is mostly due to his share of the company.
- Mohit Yadav- He helped start the skin care line Minimalist. His personal net worth is not known to the public, but the fact that Hindustan Unilever (HUL) bought Minimalist for Rs 2,955 crore in early 2025 makes it clear that the co-founder got a big cheque after the historic deal.
- Shaily Mehrotra- She runs Fixderma India as CEO. However, Shaily’s personal net worth is not publicly known. The company is estimated to be worth around Rs 187 crore in 2025, and she has a big share in it.
- Hardik Kothiya- He started Rayzon Solar. Hardik got his start in the green energy business and quickly became successful. He is now one of India’s youngest billionaires, with a net worth of about Rs 3,970 crore, according to The Economic Times.
- Kanika Tekriwal – started JetSetGo Aviation and is known for making it India’s best place to buy and sell private jets. According to some estimates, she is worth about Rs 420 crore.
- Pratham Mittal- He started both the Master’s Union and the Tetr College of Business. No one outside of his family knows how much he is worth.
