13 March 2026 – 16 March 2026.
Place: Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC), Sarsana, Surat, Gujarat, India
Though the national “Bharat Mobility Global Expo” has now been switched to a bi-annual schedule and 2026 has been left out, the focus on the region has clearly been diverted towards Gujarat. The Surat International Auto Expo 2026 will be held in Sarsana in the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC) between March 13 and 16, 2026.
The show is being presented as the second-largest car show in India this year organized by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI). As the fastest-growing city globally and with one of the highest household incomes in the Asian region, the expo is not a simple trade show, but a high-speed showcase of affluence, technology, and the transformation of the so-called Diamond City into a green mobility hub.
Green Mobility Launchpad: 50 percent Milestone
The 2026 Expo comes at a critical point to South Gujarat. Only a few months ago, the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has implemented its Green Vehicle Policy (GVP) 2025, with an ambitious objective: 50% of the total new vehicle sales in Surat should be electric vehicle sales by the year 2030.
This policy will be realised to the visitors of the SIECC. The most popular part of the expo best expected to be the green pavilion will contain:
Hyper-Local EVs: Women entrepreneurial subsidized Pink E-Auto and light commercial electric vehicles (LCVs) aimed at decarbonizing the textile and diamond logistics chains.
Global Brands and local giants: What to Expect
President of the Chamber, Nikhil Madrasi and Expo Chairman, Mehul Desai have affirmed the presence of over 100 exhibitors. The Surat Expo does not just harbor the industrial spirit of the city as the national shows mostly attract only the attention of passenger cars.

Luxury and Passenger Vehicles
The most prominent global brands are anticipated to display their 2026 collections. Surat has a large disposable income, which means that luxury groups such as Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and BMW will experience a high level of on-the-spot bookings at this event. Most of the local giants such as Tata Motors, just after a demerger of their commercial and passenger division in 2025 will probably be in the frontline with their Electric Mobility wing, presenting the new changes in the Punch EV and Nexon EV lineups.

Business and Building Power
In keeping with the fact that Surat is an industrial powerhouse, the expo boasts of a huge section of Construction and Agriculture Vehicles. With excavators of all sizes including heavy-duty excavators to the specialized textile-logistics trucks, the event is a highly important B2B matchmaking platform in the region by the MSMEs.
The Component and Aftermarket Ecosystem
The Surat Expo has been humanized in one of the most humanized ways on the form of the Ancillary Alley. In this case, small-scale manufacturers in the South Gujarat region showcase all the high-performance lubricants and bespoke alloy wheels to the latest AI-powered telematics technology and insurance technology. This part brings out the spirit of the local Gujarati entrepreneurs that is the AatmaNirbhar (Self-Reliant).
More Than a Trade Show: An Experiential Show
The SGCCI has made the 2026 Expo consumer-first. The event will include, first time, the following:
- Live Test-Drive Tracks: An exclusive outdoor track where people may feel the power of the newest EVs and can compare it to the hybrid models.
- The Startup Garage: A showroom to exhibit the ideas of Future Mobility to young engineers of the technical institutions of Gujarat, including delivery systems based on drones, artificial intelligence-powered traffic management systems, and so on.
- Legacy Felicitation: In the curtain-raiser, the exhibitors who have attended all the editions since 2011 were even given special recognition as it highlights the strong bond that exists with the community and makes this expo unique as compared to the corporate-dominated exos in Delhi or Mumbai.
