Keneeshaa Francis (singer/spiritual therapist) and Tamil actor Ravi Mohan have ended their relationship, which has led to much speculation and controversy since the beginning of their relationship months ago. Keneeshaa made this announcement via an emotional social media post regarding all of the public criticism and trolling that took place over several years. She indicated that due to this negativity in herself, she is now leaving social media altogether for a different life outside of Chennai.
This news is one of the hottest topics of discussion in Tamil cinema as it relates to Ravi Mohan, who is also currently engaged in a divorce action with his estranged wife Albert Aarti Ravi.

The Instagram post published by Keneeshaa quickly spread around social media; part of the post condemned Ravi Mohan and stated that she started the relationship “out of love” but is defeating him through silence. Additionally, she said that she is release him (Ravi Mohan) “with peacefulness, love, and total disconnection,” leading people to conclude that this meant they had broken up.
The last post from Keneeshaa reflected her emotional struggles from the continuous harassment she has faced on social media. She described the social media world as being “only for the dishonest and treacherous.” Her comments display how emotional and psychologically damaging this experience has been for her.

Ravi Mohan’s Response to the Incident
During a press conference at Chennai yesterday, Ravi Mohan made a public announcement regarding the heartbreaking decision he has made to quit acting, until his divorce proceedings are resolved, due to the challenges the incident created in his personal life, including mental health issues.
Ravi confirmed that Keneeshaaa’s emotional turmoil from the online harassment she received from trolls led to her deciding to not only delete her social media accounts but to also leave Chennai.
While he was discussing his thoughts and feelings on how all of the online harassment he has received publicly from some of his fans (and from the media), he had an extremely emotional reaction when he discussed his children, and how they would view him as their father, due to the way people feel about him in general. He said he had reached a breaking point, and is now focusing on his issues with family, prior to returning to acting in movies.
