Nissan India has announced actor Hrithik Roshan as its new brand ambassador alongside the launch of its latest mid-size SUV, the Tekton. The company is introducing the new model with bookings already open, while customer deliveries are scheduled to begin on July 20.

Nissan India has appointed Hrithik Roshan as the face of its latest brand campaign as it prepares to expand its presence in India’s competitive mid-size SUV market.
The launch coincides with the arrival of the Tekton, which becomes the flagship model in Nissan India’s current portfolio. The SUV is priced from Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
With bookings now underway and deliveries set to begin on July 20, the company is aiming to increase its visibility through the new partnership with the actor.
Tekton Marks Nissan’s Entry Into Mid-Size SUV Segment
The Tekton represents Nissan India’s entry into the mid-size SUV category.
Its exterior design features an upright stance, a wide front grille, LED headlamps, C-shaped daytime running lights and a muscular bonnet. The SUV also carries “Tekton” lettering on the bonnet.
From the side, the model includes large wheel arches, 18-inch alloy wheels and pull-style front door handles. At the rear, it gets distinctive tail-lamps and a rugged bumper design.
Nissan is offering the Tekton in 11 exterior colour options, including six monotone and five dual-tone finishes.

Interior Features and Technology
The cabin comes with a dual-tone layout and is available in four interior themes.
The SUV features a digital infotainment screen and a fully digital instrument cluster. Other equipment includes a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof and Google built-in with Google Maps and Gemini.
Additional features include paddle shifters, an electronic parking brake, a smart powered tailgate and adaptive cruise control.
These features are available across six trim levels, offering multiple options for buyers.
Engine Options and Fuel Efficiency
The Nissan Tekton is available with two turbo-petrol engine choices.
The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces 100 hp and 166 Nm of torque, while the 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine delivers 163 hp and 280 Nm.
Transmission options include a six-speed manual gearbox and a seven-speed DCT, which is offered with the larger engine.
According to Nissan, the 1.0-litre engine delivers 19.4 kmpl, while the 1.3-litre version offers fuel efficiency of up to 18.5 kmpl.
