MUMBAI: Global real estate aggregator Square Yards, which recently launched a mobile aggregation platform Square Connect for property brokers, is looking to expand property broker network through training roadshows in six cities including Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Thane, Ahmedabad & Chennai in the next one week ending October 14.
At its first roadshow that was conducted on Wednesday in Noida, the company added around 200 new brokers. The real estate start-up has already enrolled over 15,000 brokers across 12 different cities and also tied up with over 25 top stock brokerage firms, financial institutions and online firms for the Square Connect programme. Noida roadshow was the first such event planned by the company with 450 brokers attending the event, the company said in a release.
“Just like how Uber & Ola brought about a change in the lives of the cab drivers, life of a real estate agent will now see such a major transformation with the Square Connect program and mobile app. We are aggressively building the channel and aim to reach 100,000 brokers and hit over 100 institutional tie ups by the end of FY16. This would be the largest distribution network of primary real estate anywhere in the world,” said Sahil Shah, Co-founder & Principal partner, who also heads the Square Connect program.
Through the Square Connect program, the company is about to conclude around 100 real estate transactions during the first month of its launch. It helps brokers access exclusively sourced deals and inventory from grade-A developers, earn higher commission slabs from developers with demand aggregation, and increased productivity to enable them focus on core business.
For these roadshows, Square Yards has already registered more than 2,500 participants to understand how it can help them do more business and increase their productivity, the release added.
